This Privacy Policy explains the privacy practices of the Room Ease app and the Room Ease app on the app store. The policy is to be adhered to everyone and all who use the Room Ease app.
Information Collected
As soon as you finish creating your profile, add a photo, and press "Use Pic", that information is stored in Google's Firestore database with an Id of your phone number which is never shared with other users. There is no way to tell your device from another user's device. The only data that is stored in the Firestore database we use is your location and geohash that you decide, your profile information, profiles you like and dislike, the pictures you upload, and any chats you have with other users. Room Ease does use third-party services which may collect data that identifies you.

Cookies
Cookies are files with a small amount of data which is used as a unique identifier. They are sent to your browser from websites you visit and are stored in your device's memory. Room Ease does not use these "cookies" explicitly. Although, the services that are required for the app to function (third-party services) may use "cookies" in order to collect data to better their services. As a user, you have the option to accept or decline the cookies and made aware when a cookie is being sent to your device. If you refuse our cookies, you may not be able to user some functions in our service.
Usage of Personal Data
Room Ease may use, or disclose any information Room Ease obtains for any of the following business purposes:
To meet or fulfill the purposes you provided your data. For example, to view other user's photos.
To help maintain the safety, security, and integrity of Room Ease's services. For example, Room Ease may use any information to protect against spammers, hackers, and others who pose harm to the app and services. Room Ease may share data with services that moderate. Room Ease may share data with law enforcement.
To analyze and make the app and services better. For example, Room Ease may aggregate and/or de-identify information to produce statistical data such as the average amount of pictures uploaded.
To response to law enforcement requests and as required by applicable law, court order, or governmental regulations.
To evaluate or make a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of Room Ease's assets, such as part of a bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in that personal information held by Room Ease about our services users is part of the assets transferred.
Room Ease will not obtain any other forms of personal data or use your data already collected for anything different, unrelated, or incompatible purposes with giving you a notice.
Sharing Personal Information
Room Ease may disclose your personal information to other third party sites for business purposes. When your information is disclosed, Room Ease enters a contract that describes the purpose and requires the recipient to both keep that personal data confidential and not use if for any purpose except performing the contract.

Room Ease does not sell your personal information for money.

Access to Specific Information and Data Portability Rights
You have the right to request Room Ease to disclose certain information to you about Room Ease's collection and use of your personal information over the past 12 months. After Room Ease receives and acknowledges your request, Room Ease will disclose to you:
Your profile data, photos, like/dislikes, and location through third party services, based on your verified photo number.
Our business or commercial purpose for collecting your personal information.
Deletion Request Rights
You have the right to request Room Ease to delete any of your personal information that Room Ease collects and retains about you. When Room Ease receives and confirms your verifiable request, Room Ease will delete your personal information and generic identifier from our records, unless exception applies. Room Ease does not delete personal information in response to a request that has been or may be provided to law enforcement or that is or may be used to protect the safety and security of users. To exercise the access and deletion rights described above, please submit a verifiable request to use by either:

Room Ease cannot respond or provide you with personal information if Room Ease cannot your identity and authority to make the request and confirm that the personal information you. The verified request must:
Provide sufficient information that allows Room Ease to reasonably verify you are the person whom Room Ease collected personal information or an authorized representative.
Room Ease will only use personal information provided in a verifiable request to verify requestor's identity or authority to make the request.
Describe your request with sufficient detail that allows Room Ease to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.
Non-Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your rights.
California Privacy Rights
California's "Shine the Light" law (Civil Code Section 1798.83) permits users of our site that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for the direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, please send an email to roomeasephoneapp@gmail.com with "Room Ease-Privacy" in the subject line.
Notice Regarding Children
Room Ease does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 18 on the app or through any of our services. Room Ease does not approve of children ages under 18 to use Room Ease. If you are under the age of 18, do not give Room Ease any personal information. We encourage parents and/or legal guardians to monitor their children's internet usage and help protect their privacy by instructing them never to provide personal information via the internet without parental or legal guardian permission. If you have reason to believe that a child under 18 has provided personal information to Room Ease, please contact us at roomeasephoneapp@gmail.com with "Room Ease-Privacy" in the subject line and Room Ease will endeavor to delete or remove such information.
Security
Room Ease takes reasonable measure to protect the limited personal information you submit to Room Ease via the app and video chat services against loss, theft, and unauthorized use, disclosure or modification. However, Room Ease cannot guarantee absolute security. No internet transmission of information is ever fully secure or error free. You should use caution whenever submitting information online and take special care in deciding the information you share with Room Ease or another user.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to privacy practices of those third-party links or buttons and Room Ease does not endorse or review such. Data Retention
Room Ease generally retains personal information for 120 days. However, personal information may be retained for a longer period as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy or as required or permitted by law. A saved phone number and personal information for the app to function may be retained indefinitely.
International Data Transfer Notice
Room Ease is located in the United States and processes all information in the United States. If you are located outside of the United States and use Room Ease's app or services, you are transferring your information to Room Ease in the United States.
Changes to Our Privacy Policy
Room Ease reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy at Room Ease's discretion and at any time. When Room Ease makes changes to this Privacy Policy, Room Ease will post the updated notice on the app including the date it is updated. Your continued use of Room Ease's app and services following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
